Kx450 turbo

I took Scott’s bike for a ride at Hawk Fest and let me tell you what, it makes my KTM 610 with nitrous look silly. That turbo bike has “real power”. It could be cruising along and then cob the throttle and it would take off like a bullet and would pull whatever gear you wanted to be in going uphill. All I have to say is once they make this kit a consumer friendly kit it is going to be all over with for the sled guy but the whining….but….but….but….but my sled did not? I would have loved to take that thing out and max it out to see its potential. It was not mine and I will have to wait for my own.

Scott, it was a big eye opener for me. I was very impressed to say the least. Thanks for letting us take a ride.

Allen, your welcome to ride the turbo anytime.
But, in return your going to have to take me for a ride in Idaho when I get up there on my next trip North.
Thank you for the great Timbersled MH product.
The turbo bike would be useless without the MH underneath it.

The bike is sweet.
A couple of questions:
- how did they lower the compression, a custom forged piston or?
- what EFI unit are you running to be able to adjust the fuel parameters?
- is the clutch upgraded?

The bike Allen rode has stock motor + turbo
Fueling with PCV and autotune.
Yes, Clutch has lockout kit on it that prevents slippage.

We need some video footage of this thing soon!
Head to head climbing vs. a sled... say an 800 stock Pro rmk or something similar to get a good baseline to judge performance.

I will have to talk Scott into coming up to Sandpoint ID. So we can put that turbo to the test. I will get some of my sled buddies to come and try to kit our butts and we will get it on film. Of them trying anyway!
