Kudos 2Moto

My bike (500AF) starts great, even in the cold. First time for the day, choke it and lay the bike over to 'flood' the carb just a little and it fires right up.

For me, it wasn't too bad to start it in deeper snow either. I could get the bike to balance upright, hop on and kick it..... no big deal at all.

2moto has great customer service too.

Oh, and yes, I made the 2 gallon fuel cell. You can check out my website for more info/ other project pictures.

Hey Aaron, I'd be interested in seeing more detailed shots of you tank. I looked at your web page. nice looking work. guess I should get an elbow for my F250 while I'm at it...

Couple thoughts: is the weight going to effect the suspension? How is it attached? Could a small rack and/or a couple bungee loops be added to hold a smallish tool pack? Does the lid had a pouring spout? On full compression, does the tank come too close to rear fender or more importantly, the pipe?

k so that was more than a couple... sorry.

thanks, Hauler

When it is full, yes, I'm sure it would...... Weight always has an effect on suspension. But, the weight is located the best it can be in relation to the track system's rotation and CG.

How is it attached?
With the threaded black hand knob in the center of the tank. Very sturdy.

Yep, you'd just need to sketch the additions that you have in mind.

On full compression, does the tank come too close to rear fender or more importantly, the pipe?

Mine is approx 1" away from the silencer when it is up in the fender, and no, it doesn't hit the fender. The tank is no wider than the two top round tubes of the radix system.

Installed 2moto kit on yz450f yesterday. I am surprised at how well this kit works. Does stuff a 50 horsepower bike should not be capable of. 2moto obviously put a lot of thought and engineering into this kit before puting it into production to make it work as well as it does. Now I don't feel so bad for spending all that $$$$ for the kit. My 2 Cents.

Hey just wanted to add my .02 about the guys in this company and their product. I was trying to find a GEN II ski for a bit now and finally I contacted 2moto to see if I could use a sled ski... turns out there are differences...

So on his LONG trip thru Poky, Brett personally hand delivered my new ski and saved me the shipping. That's GREAT customer service. He also took a sec and let me oggle the turbo RMZ450 he had along for the ride! Very sweet even tho suzuki isn't on my top 3 list for bikes. This fuel injection trend in motox is going to make some cool options for snow applications.

I got my kit for my WR450 last year and had a blast on it! I'm a sledhead that loves to 'dock in the mountains but this turns the whole mountain into a giant motox freestyle park and penalty for crashing isn't that bad... just a little cold. :D

Thanks again Brett, look forward to single skiing with you this year.

That was a looong drive to the Calgary show! Glad to help you out- we do as much as we can for our customers. I'll keep you posted on our big HP projects this season! We really want to showcase how durable our RadiX systems are, and one way is putting big hp through them. The other way is what you showed in that photo above... :)

The AD Boivin kit looks so much lighter. That thing looks like it weighs more than the bike itself..

Good thing for me that I ride my 2moto bikes enough to know that they are not heavy, they are ballanced and the geometry is set up so that the bikes ride like they are supposed to.

Must be a greatly refined skill to be able to weigh things by looking at pictures.

What is the weight of the entire 2moto kit?

I've seen and drove the Explorer kit.

Im not sayin its a bad product, just looks heavy to me.

Which kit LOOKS heavier?

COOL!! And its your right to have that oppinion.:beer; May I ask why?

Uhhh, because the main drive is made out of plastic, driving against rubber paddles?????? I'm sure plastic is fine, and the drive method is genius, but I wonder how long before a paddle rips off, and it won't go without a push.

So, if they punched holes on the track that would be fine with you? or are regular sleds not made right with the plastic drive sprockets turing the track?

Uhhhh, I think I said the plastic was fine. But, I believe regular sleds have several drive sprockets, and they aren't driving against paddles, but cog and belt arrangement. I basically asked how long before a paddle was sheared off?

You misspelled "turning".

My sled has extra big holes punched in the track, for weight, it's definitely fine with me.
