You Crows sure make a racket when a Hawk is in you nest. I no its must be tuff having a intimidating bird of prey take up your snow space.

On the old forum I was the First to Post 1ski vs. 2ski. and for some reason it really ticked some of you off.

I like all sports Water skiing, Snow skiing, Motorcycles, windsurfing, and sledding. If someone asked me to come and try my Snow board, air chair, or trials bike, I would answer " heck yah". I may not like it but at least I can give a edjucated reason why.

segregation Weather you like it or not it is still a regitered Snowmobile.

This is a Snowmobile sight with a general forum to talk about snowmobiles?

I dont give a chit I am going to keep sitting in the front of the Bus

They are fun to ride. I'd own one, but they are expensive and they don't make them anymore.
I thought about buying one but ended up building an IQR mountain instead.

If it makes you feel better, come to Idaho and I'll ride yours and tell you its fun.

If they could stamp them out like M&M's and bring the price down they would probably have sold more.
Oh and figure out how to get the center of gravity a little lower, Its not bad to pick up in powder, got the whole throttle lift thing figured out pretty quick. (yes they go actually good in powder).

How's that for an objective 2 skier.

It was kinda bunk that his last post got pulled, he never said all sledders were drunks, never said any 4m members were drunks, he said the guys he used to ride with were drunks. Then some people took it wrong and boom, a mod pulls the thread. I've seen much worse last much longer. I think he has a point.

And I swear on my hawk, If your gonna red rep me SIGN IT. In the words of C-BOLT if you your man enough to sign your rep I will give you green in return.

your right they were way to expensive to buy new. I purchased mine used. you can find used ones for sale. If you realy whant one and it is out of state there are Hawkers on the forum thay may review it for you to see if it is worth it. I used to think the same thing about the center of gravity but I now beleive that it helps with carving turns. Yes it can be heavy to pick up, but you learn that when you feel your about to bite it how to crash.

sorry if I sound fustrated with my post. but I think I should be able to talk on here without being blanked out.

the Hawk is not for everyone, and I understand that there are many folks who have tried ridding my Hawk and some just cant do it, and thats OK.

but at least they gave it a shot.

Like I said it was a blast to ride. They like to be ridden. I didn't just ride it around a meadow, I flogged it all over the place.

I've got nothing against them. There were other factors in not buying one, I'm not saying I'm out of the market, but at the time I wanted an 8 and even used they were spendy. (The price seams reasonable after my latest build though:rolleyes:)

I can understand you're enthusiasm, I was sold after that ride, but just went a different direction. (for now)

SOmeone needs to push the bottle away and drink some coffee.

It's posts like that, that turn people off.

sounds kind of Ornery to me, must be in a bad mood from being stuck in the back and eating Roost all day.

Yawn........

In all my time on this forum and the old forum, I cannot recall any threads started by "couch riders" calling out the "one-skiers" but yet I can remember at least a dozen threads where Hawk riders keep badgering the "two-skiers". I don't read the Hawk section so please correct me if I'm wrong if some sledder has come into that section and posted unretalitory, unsolicited derogatory remarks about the Hawk.

SHA did great things for you Hawk riders on this site by pretty much turning a lot of people against you. IMO, you should be trying to improve that relationship if you want to be accepted as part of the majority, not throwing fuel on the fire.

Yes, this is a sled site, so you're correct, let's talk sleds. You talk about "segregation", but yet......you're the ones who have segregated yourselves. You can't start a thread about how great the snow hawk is and how much sleds suck and then start another one about how you love all sports and as "sledders" we should all get along and sit idly by while you tell us how antiquated our sleds and riding tactics are and generalize about sledders....

Either practice what you preach or the only bus you'll be sitting on is the one full of hypocrits.
