I had this problem a couple years ago. I ended up putting a concrete pad under the feeder then making a little rock garden around the pad. No more weeds. You just gotta watch where you put the feeder, to close to the cars you have a mess that's a pain to clean up in the winter when it's to cold to wash the car. I like to watch the birds but wish they wouldn't sh!t all over everything. Kinda like the ones in this thread.

Thistle blight

One issue I have with most good seed is that it's imported for outside the USA. South Africa's thistle blight has hit the supply, and as a traded commodity it's already taken on it's seasonal price spike. I'm feeling bearish .. sell you bird seed futures.

Reinvest in futures for cat litter/bees honey/or fertilizers with high dragon dung content (ground up pistons).

Interesting Threads

My old lady told me about this thread tonight so I checked it out, kind of funny but kind of embarrasing, often worry about getting punched out in a snowpark one of these days because of these brilliant guys in our group like Poach and SHA, so I wanted some of you sledheads to know that the mccbrothers crew has nothing to do with these characters and there forum sturing, we just love to ride and make Hawk films, lots of the hawk riders I know are chill guys and love to ride, I think that what we are all on here for, used to be a turbo sled builder but got into the hawk a few years ago and must say they are sick, just ignore the obnoxious threads some hawkers post and try one sometime if you ever get the chance cause they are crazy fun, you definatly need a sled and hawk.

You have been nothing but class on this 4M and as for SHA and poocher? Karma's a bit(h baby!

Most of us who are just plain fed up with them and their grade school behavior have them both on the ignore feature so it's like they're not even here anymore!;)
