KMOD converstion kit review

I just did the conversion kit and it's alot more then an ovs kit I ride with a guy that has an ovs kit on his sled and it still will hang the skis in the air pretty good with the kmod on myn when climbing I just get my skis off the snow not a foot in the air or more like my friends sled with the ovs just what I saw well rideing and he's going to put a kmod on his sled now so I think that tells the story, there not even the same in how they work imo

I've had 2 rides on my Kmod so far. My sled is a non boosted 09 M8 162 with and slp single on it. I went the econ route to in my setup. I'm still adjusting the air in my float and the spring preload on the front shock. The jury is still out with me, yes it is a better ride..... how much...well I need more time on it. Now I have a question, could someone explain to me what more preload on the front shock vs less preload on the front shock spring does in ride and in handling. Thanks

The stiffer you set your front track shock up, the more weight transfer (front to rear) you will acheive. For powder riding, there is a balance point between getting enough weight transfer to take weight off the front of the sled but not so much that you just trench all the time ... For drag racing, you would want more weight transfer ... trail riding would be kind of like powder riding, you want enough ski pressure to steer the sled, but not so much you spin the track out constantly.

At least that't my $0.02 on it.

This setup is coupled so it doesn't transfer and the preload is a lot different than with stock. I would call kevin and ask him how to set it up for a good base line.
