Klim?!?

In full disclosure though PJ didn't they give you FREE gear as an ambassador? I wouldn't have a bad thing to say either. Looks like they make quality products although I've yet to try them.

I bought my bibs, jacket and one pair of gloves last season. They did give me the new WOT gloves, helmet, boots and a hoody. I was sold on their gear last season when I bought it and I sold my Klim gear long before they sent me the other stuff. So, that enough proof that they are the real deal?

I haven't ridden since New Years Day because they snow kinda sucks and it's been extreme cold. But I did wear the stuff shoveling my driveway in -26°f this last weekend and I was warm the entire time.

Bottom line is that all riding gear besides Mountain Addictions new gear is made over seas. If a glove costs $20 to make you have to add everything to that number to get it to you, the end user. Last I check nobody works for free, I know I don't. R&D, Manufacturing, Shipping to Klim, selling to dealers, advertising all factor into the cost of an item. Don't forget Gore-Tex takes a cut too. Nothing is cheap these days and complaining about a pair of gloves that cost $100 that you use on a machine that costs $12,000 is trivial to me. It's not a cheap sport by any means, I wish it didn't cost $44 everytime I fill my tank on my sled but it does. I fill it and grin from ear to ear while burning it! :bounce:

The cost of a $30,000 car is probably around $5000 actual cost.......

Anyone that is GIVEN gear has the responsibility to promote that gear unless it's returned. Last I saw Burandt/Hibbert/Frisby and a hundred other athletes LOVE Monster.........or do they??

im in an industry that sells american made products and oversea's made products. 8 out of 10 times the consumer will buy the cheaper product(oversea's) than the american made product if the items are basically the same.

with that said, there are people who want american made only, however that's not enough of the market share to stay in business...we have to have both...it's up to us to know which products to show the consumer based off of our questions that we/they ask
