Klim Losche is Garbage

3 rides, only two of the where off of the trail and it now has two rips one in the chest the other on my arm. Klim must give all their sponsored riders 100 suits just to make it thru the season

Love mine but haven't ripped it. Their stealth gear is also awesome but not that durable. Their Valdez jacket is bombproof. I think anything that is lighter with better mobility just isn't going to be as durable. For what you have to pay, it sucks but it is what it is.

"for active and aggressive riders who want do-it-all outerwear, the all-new LOCHSA One Piece ® brings unbeatable convenience with KLIM® and GORE-TEX® performance. Step into the LOCHSA One Piece ® and enjoy GORE-TEX® three layer durability"

They say it's durable on there website. I must not be aggressive enough of a rider.

Im not a Klim guy personally run all Motorfist but the stuff doesn't just rip magically out of nowhere. Ive put some tears in gear before but its always very aggressive contact with sharp objects like Axys running boards or traction screws on skinz boards.

2nd that.
Don't think they make ANYTHING better for TREE RIDING then the Valdez.

I posted my experience so people know what they are buying and don't make the mistake I did. From now on I will not be buying anything from Klim because of the way they handled it and the cookie cutter answers that I head from the people that work there.

How does any company refund on something that was damaged by the owner? My brother got a pair of Klim goggles and they had a flaw they took them back no questions asked. If I tore my jacket I would never call and asked for a new one. I have blasted through hundreds of trees with my Klim gear and it has never had any issue.

I have had my Klim Valdez jacket I wear for work 9 seasons and 36000 miles of riding and except for a stuck zipper has held up great. No tears. I just sent the jacket to Klim for possible warranty repair.

My Valdez is 8 years old and still works great. I bought new Freeride pants last year after 7 seasons because the shins were showing some wear from running board contact.

Love their stuff and wouldn't use anything else.

You'll be back LOL.

That suit didn't magically rip, and if it did Klim would have a new one at your door faster than any other company would. They really have great warranty but you have to be REALISTIC with your expectations. I am sure Klim will offer you a discounted price to get into a new suit or offer to repair it at a small cost.

I get that it sucks that you spent $700 and already have a ripped suit, been there, but theres no gear that holds up to things like running boards and short sharp branches. Accept the fact that its your fault and move on, if you ride aggressively your gonna be buying new gear pretty much head to toe every 1-3 years.

Snowmobilers are hilarious when it comes to user-inflicted damage. If you back your truck in to a tree and dent the bumper....do you get angry with the manufacturer? The # of times it was used doesn't mean anything when it comes to damage. Ya it sucks....but that's life.

Now, if a seam or something blew out....I have had nothing but good experience with getting Klim to cover it.

I have a KLIM lochsa and have ridden about 500 miles of tree hustling dragging all sorts of trees across leg and limb and not one tear from that. Axys running board ls got the leg right at the bottom but hasn't tore any more than that for several rides. Sorry you had a bad experience with yours but I couldn't say anything better about mine it has been fantastic!!!!!

Our crew has had KLIM for years and it has taken some punishment through trees etc. Like others have said damage comes from things like sharp running boards, or hot exhaust. This yearI took a branch to the my right arm that left a bruise for two weeks, no damage to my Valdez jacket. The things we have sent in for repair have been done very well and are still waterproof.
