Klim goggles

Anyone use these? Seems like they sold out last year. I sweat alot from my forehead and i found my 509s fog bad even with a fan and to add to it the fan warped the lens by putting pressure points into it. My dragon dx goggles work well fogging but looking for something newer, my dragons are like 10 years old.

I have two pairs I used last year. In my opinion they are better than the 509's I have used in years past. If conditions are really bad they still fog up terribly but when used with the F4 helmet I found them to be the best goggle I have used yet in regards to fogging. Yes they will still fog but for me it only happened during blizzard conditions.

We sold out last year, but they had a terrible warranty issue that they dealt with for the lenses. A ton of pairs were getting snow particles in between the dual lens. This year they came out with a second goggle called the Radius PRO, which was supposed to fix any lens issues from last year. We are just now starting to get our stock of them in now. If you do a search you should be able to find some threads on the goggles from last year, not a ton of people actually riding the new stuff this year yet.

I just live chatted with klim. The pro has a thicker strap and out riggers. Thats the only difference. And the issues with the lens has been addresses with both frames.

This is true, but you will have to make sure with any purchases that you do not get the old radius goggles mixed in with the new ones. They are both called the "Radius"....I know we are in the process of making the older ones on sale so that you can differentiate them, but a lot of people will still mix them up.

I purchased two pairs of them last year, with all the hype about them not fogging up and what not I figured I would give it them a try In hopes of not having to pack 4 sets of goggles.

I still pack 4 pars of goggles, only now two of them were really really expensive.

So, it sounds like you did not have luck with them then? Trying to understand your typing above, sorry.

I have a pair and they decent but for my helmet / goggle combo, I still prefer the Dragon DX goggle with the Troy Lee Design SE-3. Again, that's what works for me, everyone is different.

if you are looking for a good pair of goggles look elsewhere, klim has many great products but their goggles aren't among them . me and 2 of my friends had them and we all had the same results. and they weren't good.

There is no such thing as no fog goggles. I've heard about goggles that don't fog but i've also heard about good liberals. Still looking for both.

Grab a under hood bag and you will only need two

I tried some last year, and they did fog on me occasionally, but I do like them. I much prefer my aviators though.

I picked up a second set of aviators for this year (Chris Brown Signature), and a set of the Sinister X5's to try out, and my Klim's will be ones I lend out to who goes riding with me.

Vision can be tough out here in wet Washington. I thought the Klim goggles worked really well. Not no fog but pretty anti-fog for me. Work better than my Smith I/O ski goggles costing twice as much. Being in shape, keeping your head dry, having an underhood goggle bag to cook the water out of your spare set of goggles all goes a long way to keeping them fog free. I want to have 2 underhood bags this year. One for goggles and one for gloves.

Question: For you fellas that are having to use two sets of goggles in a day, what seems to be the issue that makes you switch? Is it a lens choice, or fogging, moisture etc. Reason we ask, is we are from North Idaho, and get the same wet Coastal snow that the WA guys do, but most definitely do not need two pairs of goggles while riding a pair that fits the riders helmet, and is carefully used throughout the day. Are you fellas using quick straps, are you taking your goggles off during the ride, or leaving them on your helmet and taking your helmet off as one piece etc?

Quick straps are a large contributor to fogging goggles.
all it takes is a few snowflakes on the inside lens and the fogging commences.
I see people pulling the goggles off and letting them hang. Then later they're changing their fogged up goggles while I wear the same ones all day. I never pull the strap and let them hang.
Now if its dumping some snow and I get stuck alot then I will probably have to change goggles.

I generally only use on pair of goggles per day but take two pair . if it's wet or you get stuck to much or whatever else you run into you still need back ups. if you a big guy like me you sweat a lot and that adds a lot of moisture to your head. so fogging for me is an issue I just try to minimize it as much as possible:face-icon-small-ton

Got a pair of the polarized ones last year for Xmas. They are very nice goggles IMO, although I never would have spent that kind of $ on my own for just goggles.
They are not "no fog", however they don't fog up any worse (in western WA where everything is foggy/wet/warm all the time) than any other goggles.
Fit and quality is great, just not $150 great or whatever they cost.

I'd reccomend them, but I hadn't bought new goggles in like 5 years or more so maybe other brands are just as nice as these.
Compared to my old Dragons, Oakleys and Smiths they are nice.
