Klim Gloves falling apart at the seams?

I just noticed my Klim Gloves are literally falling apart at the seams on both gloves between the fingers. (Klimate model) Bought them at the beginning of this season, have about 12-15 rides on them. They are great gloves but I am very surprised to see them falling apart all at once with so little use. Anyone else have this problem?

Klim climate gloves

same problem here, same amount of rides. coming apart at the seams between the fingers. worked great so far, but i won't be buying another pair!

I don't buy $80 gloves, they are no better than $40 ones. I like most others , just keep searching for the $40 gloves that last a little longer than the other pairs that are in the garbage, and at $40 I can search twice as much as those that spend $80.

Call Klim and send them back, they will give you another pair. I have had the Powerxross gloves do the same thing twice. I am not happy about it either, but they have replaced them. I think the 10 year old Vietnamese kid that sews them for them isn't stitching them deep enough so the seams pull. I have always had great service from Klim, but it's too bad they have a problem to begin with.

Send them back and KLIM will send you a new pair;) I have abused mine like crazy without any problems. But my buds came apart in the same place as yours so he called KLIM,sent em back, and in a few days he got a brand new pair. He has had no problems since. :D Oh by the way I thought I would save $$ so I bought a pair of $30 Body Gloves and they completely fell apart in two rides and they would not stand behind them..

I sell KLIM gear and yes there are a few gloves comming back with the problems stated above. All the gloves that have this problem have been covered by warranty without a question. Send them back to where you bought them from.

The wife and I both have Klim's, love them had mine 2 years no problems. It's just like any other product once in a while you get product failure. But they do stand behind there product. So sending them back shouldn't be a problem.

Happened to a pair of my gloves last year. My local shop sent them back for me, free shipping, and I got them back to my house from KLIM in less than 5 business days

My new ones are holding strong, now if I could stop touching my hot can, they would last forever:beer;

Klim has really gone to Crap.
Same gloves, same problem
Balclava, fraying along the edges after 2 months of riding.
Brand new Beanie, unraveling at the top of the hat.
Bought a new Valdez parka this year. Told the dealer that its not as heavy as my older Valdez which by the way is still in great condition after 3 seasons. Dealer said that they changed their material/build for these, but they are just as good if not better than the older style. BS, I'm freezing in this jacket, the pockets are tiny, no vent in the back.
Send the gloves back for a new pair. I'll do that, and while I wait for half the season, should I buy a new pair of Klim gloves, or suffer with a crappy pair of 7-11 gloves???

Same here bought them at the dealer 50% off so i only paid $40. Took them back they told me i had to send them too KLIM and that they will send me a new pair.

Haven't sent them yet, I need the address and haven't had time to look for it on the website.

Wonder why the difference in dealers. My dealer in junction took them and said they would handle it. I drive past four other dealers ( some different manufactures) to go there but sure like the service.

My klimate gloves fell apart at the base of the finger wells after 4-5 rides. I have not sent them back yet.

For warranty of Klim gear you must first call them at 208-552-7433 for a return authorization number and after that send them to
Klim
3753 East County Line Road
Rigby,Idaho
83422
Write the return # on the outside of box with a return address inside.

Had an old pair of Tog gloves (5 or 6 years old) finally let go in the same spot you mention. Sent them back in december and bought a new pair at the same time.

Got the replacement pair back in ~ 2 weeks but blew the new pair out in ~ 3 weeks. We'll see if they warranty this newest pair.

Im on my third pair. If you ride hard and have tacky grips the seams come apart at the base of the fingers. Good glove but the material they make the palms out of isnt tough enough.

Snowmobiling is hard on gloves. People warm their hands on pipes, wrench on stuff, and put the gloves through extreme conditions. With Klim at least you know you will get the best customer service if something does go wrong.

I've been riding with same pair of Togwotee gloves for 2 years with no tearing at all. I've put around 20 rides on a set of new Powerxross gloves with no signs of wear.

Sent my Klimates back to Klim and upgraded to Togwotees for extra $20 - worth every penny...
