Klim f4 helmet

Was wondering how many people are using these helmets and how are they. Was also wondering about fly helmet the formula mx. looking to get a new helmet over the summer and was just wondering what everyone thought about these helmets

fly helmet i would be getting the blue and orange one. http://flyracing.com/products/riding-gear/helmets/formula-mx

love the klim helmet. Light and ventilated. very comfortable.

And i personally think its 10x as good in the summer on the bikes. Super cool!

You wont regret your purchase

dont waste your money

I had one was not impressed sold it and bought troy lee design best damm helmet I have ever bought I have had shoie and arai before and troy lee has a great warrenty also 5 years against defects ny brother has a fly helmet and he likes it just a thought for you

Well, I've never used a Fly helmet. I have seen them and sold quite a few. They seem to be a good quality helmet. Try both on for fitment. You may find one is more comfortable than another making the decision easier.
I do have a Klim F4 helmet that I love. I'm always hot. And this helmet works just as advertised. It vents very well. It's dirt biking heaven on a 90 deg day.
Works just as well in the winter too. I can't say I have any complaints at all on it.

The Klim is far superior IMO. Extensive RD went into making this product as well not only for function ability & lightweight, but these helmets are designed to with a 'custom fit' applications to all types individuals so it fits 'you' & not the majority consumer.

These guys love theirs

I was lucky enought to get one for my birthday this year and have ridden about 600 miles so far with it.

So far I am very impressed with it, I wish the breath deflector was a little taller for the old set of Oakleys that I sometimes use, but other than that I have no complaints. (It works fine with my 509s and the old set of Smiths)

two seasons on mine and its great except I have a 3x head so it's damb hard to get on but i also sweat alot and when we stop the otherguys heads are steaming but I'm just rite.

i have been thinking about getting one. But i got a fat head and unsure of sizing. Have to see if dealer has a few that i can try on.
I also sweat my arse off riding hard both on sleds and dirtbikes

do you think my head would get cold because i trail ride and have never been in the mountains. I love to ride hard when i can but sometimes can't because im behind my family or other reasons.

I just don't want to buy a ventilated helmet and be cold with it.

I don't know this for sure but a buddy of mine told me that you will freeze your a** off in one. I am in the same boat as you and think I will get a fly helmet this summer, also I have been told that fly helmets are well venilated and lightweight. Another bonus is the cheapest fly helmet is $90 and the cheapest klim is $370, but what is your head worth?

i have a fly and love it was talking to the guy at helmet outlet in cda and he said fly helmets are way under rated they a second best only to the klims. i went with the fly because im cheap 89 dollars looks cooler also

I've never had a problem with the F4 in cold temps, and I've been in -10 in deep pow all day. As long as you have a balaclava, I don't think you will ever be cold.

The venting is especially helpful for agressive riders.

love mine as well started using last summer on my bike and now sledding I used the winter liner once and went back to the summer liner even on super cold day's love the flow of air

I have this helmet and I use it in the flatlands and also in the mountains. THe helmet does have a cold weather insert. The insert blocks off the vents on those cold days. I have yet to get cold with this helmet.
