Good question!. I don't have an answer that's bullet proof.

As for what should be done-To quote myself-"Would sure be awesome if the great deal maker in chief would stop tweeting about reporters and solve this diplomatically, cause otherwise people are gonna die"
As for how we got here, it was inevitable as soon as Oppenheimer figured it out in 1945 that more regimes would figure this out. Hell I bet you can google how to make a hydrogen bomb. NK is nuclear. Accept it. Use the deterrent threat and let em go on being happy little commies.
As for blame, if this goes over the line the current admin will own it. NK had nukes in Ws time, this is nothing new.. It's been proven in the past that strangling an aggressive regime with sanctions doesn't get them to back down. Keep doing the same thing and hope for different results-insanity.

I may not agree with bannon on much but he was right when he said there was no military option without massive casualties. Seoul will be a smokin hole in the ground 10 mins after any attack by the US, if not nuked then hit with a giant spread out artillery barrage

At first I laughed too!. But there is a dark side to it also.
It just seems to me that, Trump is lowering himself to that clowns level when he responds to that insane nut case. It would be fitting if one of his missiles went astray and landed on one of his own cities. Or just as good, China, or Russia.

I get what you are saying, but I don't see it as sinking to his level. I see it more as...."look little man, it's not just us, the whole world is laughing at you"
Now if world-power nations took Rocket Man's side, then it would have clearly been a mis-step by our great President Trump.

Ehh I have a rather dark humor so I find it funny the American people elected Trump who is giving him a taste of his own crazy medicine. Its kinda fun being the loose cannon sometimes.
