is snowest so greedy for cash that now there allowing antisled use companies to advertise here

logged on this morning and there are keen foot wear ads
might as well have a patagonia coat add right next too it

all i can say is, its on the opening page before i click on forums
there has been a Keen ad a couple times
sorry it is an add,, maybe i see it because im only a basic member , not paying to upgrade save your breath

and no my vagina doesnt hurt , i just think its odd that a major anti company
would be allowed to show there product here
might as well put up sierra club , save the trees , patagonia , etc

I used to paddle for them, and my local rep thought it was hilarious having a Keen sticker on my sled (I used keen boots for sledding for years, even after he left keen... still got a closet full of them!) had that made it back to corporate though, I'm pretty sure he would have been fired!!!


Haven't seen an ad on here in years though. as soon as it went to costing us money, I saw no reason to support advertisers anymore. I forget that there are people computer illiterate enough to not be able to install an ad blocker. Takes about 2 minutes... and you'll get it back in faster load times, no accidentally clicking on an ad, and having a way less cluttered screen.

Is there still an ad on the side for you guys? I know folks were complaining about that for a while too, I wondered if that had gone away?

Aren't some of those flash type ads affected by cookies on your computer? If you are searching on line for a product and visit a webpage for that item, ads for that product pop up on webpages visited afterwards. I'd say someone was shoe shopping on your computer.

Try searching for a product you don't normally use like say, AmsOil, and watch all the AmsOil ads you see on other websites over the next few days.

I GET THE POINT, the sticker was a joke, even the rep thought it was funny, and I know they're not sled friendly... that's why it was funny. I paddled for them kayaking, but used the gig to get gear for sledding... never mind, you're not gonna get it I guess. Try to find a company that makes kayak gear that's "sled friendly"... it's not possible, so we made the most of it, and got what we could from them.

If you want to look at ads... that's all you, enjoy the Keen ad. Maybe the sierra club will start advertizing here as well. In the meantime I've got my whole screen for content, rather than looking at Keen ads.

run either GOOGLE CHROME browser or FIREFOX. both have add-block apps. it blocks EVERYTHING on ANY forum. even my local classifieds adds are nice a neat now without chit flashing at me all over the screen. ITS FREE

im glad to hear your involved with your area club , sorry if i jumped at you to soon ,
just getting sick of the off topic crap on the forums any more seems like every subject has someone slamming another or calling you a dumb ***
be it because of a different brand sled or the color of your socks

I spend hundreds of hours in my area for the sport and when i see adds like that it makes me wonder why we donate all the time
to just have adds and other riders always busting our chops
