Just waiting for my 174 3" paddle track

Built a billet piece that uses the top two brake mounting holes and moves the axle/brake assembly down to the proper location.

It will be interesting to see if the track speed is really slowed down with that thing. That is a ton of rotating mass for a stock sled.
 
174 3"

I saw mid 40's last year with a stock xp with a 174X16X2.5 on it. From what I could see the 155's didn't have much more going up the hill digging. I had more ground speed because of the floatation. The new track is only 4 pounds heavier. I don't think the track speed will be reduced that much, but the traction will be much better. After all it it the speed of the sled and not track speed that is important or we all would be running 121's.
