Hey guys, my buddy just showed me this turbo he happened to have and I was wondering if it would work on a snowmobile. Would one of these A/R 42 work good for say a 900 RMK? Or possibly a 600 maybe an 800 if that wouldn't work. Thanx-

there are hundreds of different turbos with .42 a/r housings on them.

that is just one of many measurements. kinda like saying this sled has 16" shocks... is that a good snowmobile? mainly just an arbitrary form of measure.

Ok, thanx. What numbers do I need to get off of it to decipher whether or not it has a place in snowmobile world? I am new to the turbo world, could only hook it up, I have no clue what would work and what wouldn't.

ill be honest, the turbo is just one of about 20+ parts you need to have have to get it working correctly. i could hand a lot of guys the perfect turbo but that doesnt mean they can get the rest of the parts on it put together right and even get it to run.

Im not saying dont try to build stuff, im saying, when i was asking the same questions, i had no freakin clue what i was talking about or doing.

as for the turbo, THERE should be a tag riveted to the centered section, grab the model number and we can look it up.
