Just got laid off. Anyone need a guide?

Sorry, but no. I stay closer to Jackson (no need to travel). We'll show any size group around for $100 for everyone for a day. You might be blindfolded to some unloading spots.

So your going to guide with no permit or inserance? Talk about putting you neck on the line to get a few bucks!

Did he say guiding?
I didn't get that.
What I read was that he just wanted to ride with some guys who are "new" to the area!
That's all I got out of it.

if any kind of payment is given its guiding and you need a permit for that to opperat on the natanal forest and showing a group around for $100 is payment so its guiding. so if you pay someone to "show you around" and you get hurt because of where they take you its money out of your pocket for your med bills or if you get a gudie he has inserance for stuff like that!!!! just think about it i spent alot of time and effert getting my permits and doing it by the book so dont jack around the ones that make there living this way.

3C, does your insurance cover someone you are guiding if they break a leg, arm ect... What if they need a lifeflight ride? What if God forbid they get paralyzed, what exactly does your insurance cover? Aggregate limits? Just wondering since you brought it up in your post.

yep if you get hurt i have inserance to cover it and the forest service is a co insered on it so they make you get good inserance to cover everyone.

I see, could you elaborate on the coverage.

I agree, it's jack holes like this guy that are making it even harder every year for legitamate people to get thier guide permits, and insurance, tog9 look into it, it is a million dollar minumum guide insurance and the sheet aint cheap! Leave the guiding to the pros and if you get caught guiding without the permits and legitmate documents they can take your cars, sleds, house and fine you so much you will never snowmobile again! And by the way the forest service does look into posts on here!

I agree with you snocross.. Leave it to the pro's and you boys are the best..
But for God sakes Cam.. use your damn spellcheck!!! Your killing me man!

You boys going North or staying South this weekend?
cheers

I have to carry 5 million for my business (construction), just curious on your coverage since 3C brought it up. What exactly does your insurance cover? Is the forest service listed as co insured or as an additional insured (my guess is the later)
