That is a steep and dark canyon.
I heard about about it that day on our way home from Cub River. Our wives called with a panic wondering where we had gone sledding that day. Even though we told them that we went to Idaho. They told us the horrific Breaking news. I became instantly sick to my stomach. Its hard to hear two of our fellow sledheads was taken. As drove past the canyon that day it seemed so different to me. It was dark and hazy. That area is know for its large avy's.
The past two years Avys have covered the road heading up there. And every time the avys are huge that come down.
It saddens me to hear of such hopeful and young people being taken by the mountain.
