just bought a new gun....

A little off topic.. but if somebody is reading this thread looking for a new cc pistol

the springfield is a nice gun.. but the one that i personally like better is the S&W m&p 40's... they are really nice.. a bit more pricey but nice

either way they are both hands down better than the glocks..

I have a 9mm berretta and love it very durable. If the democrats win office I will be buying more (ar black rifle)...my way to keep the USA out of recession...haha

Dont get me wrong.. glocks are great for some people.. but i have personally worked on tons of these things.. if you really start shooting them a lot they have bad problems..due to there design.. yes when they are new.. they are sandproof, waterresistant, etc.. however with the tolerances needed to accomplish this it cuts the life of the frame/slide down dramatically and i personally like to be able to hit what i'm shooting at

If a person just wants it to carry conc. for close conferations.. and not plink with it but a couple times a year.. they are ok at best.. for the price.. there are betting options IMO

Yeah, I have seen issues but I like the no safety except the trigger on them for those situations. XD is a great gun but I don't like all the safety's for my specific purpose of having the Glock. Plus I bought my Glock md 22 freshly rebuilt from the factory(everything except the barrel is new w/3 15 rd mags) w/ lifetime warranty for $250.00 when I worked for a Gander Mountain store. And at 20 yds I can nail a gallon jug with every shot so it works very very well for what I want.

If i really want to scare someone I'll pull out the smith 460 XVR then I'm good to about 150 yds (burris 2-7 scope).:D

Basicly it all boils down to what the shooter is comfortable with and what the needs are.
