I recently had surgury to repair my torn ACL. Before the surgery the nurse had to shave my leg. I do not know what is worse. The pain from my knee or the horrible itching!

So do not shave your legs.

hmm shaving?? weird, as we are either supposed to clip or get the patient to shave the area themselves.

seriously though...how did you hurt your knee...what happened? ouch!

Was in a skiercross race, and crashed. Finished that heat and the next qualifying for the finals, before it hurt too much to continue.

I have felt your pain, I broke my ankle a few years back and it screw it back together they decided to shave my leg all the way up to my upper thigh. Beats me why they couldnt just shave the ankle, and of course they waited till i was under. Then last year I break my tib and fib in 4 spots they go in and put a rod and screws in and dont shave a thing!.....weard
