where do all the totaled out sleds go when the insurance co comes and gets them? as many xp's that were sold there should be some good used 800r motors out there.

Hey we recently purchased a 700 Polaris engine from a group in Proctor, MN. They were great to deal with though a bit old school. It is called Emerson Stahl. Like I said great to deal with, great prices, just a bit old school. They shipped the engine with everything but the clutch mounted on it. Looks great and was everything that they said it would be. Try them.
If its anything like totalled auto's, different people bid on the "salvage" and buy it. You can fix'em up or part'em out. I bought several "salvage" projects from Allstate I fixed up and sold when I was in Highschool / college. Find out who handles the salvage for the various insurance companys and make them a friend.

They go to salvage sales. copart is monopolizing markets these days. You have to have a dealers license to buy there.
