Seems to me, now that I think about it, every Democrat president has been challenged. Yha, the world's wackos will smell weakness. But, like they said, no one will challenge McCain. Without Bush to be legislative branch's backbone, the Senate Dems will have to actually make a decision.

Back in the 70's we had the dems in total control.
We also had the largest expansion of government in the history of this country, we also saw a HUGE increase in social programs and social spending that we haven't been able to get rid of to this day.

Had this been Palin saying the exact same thing, word for word, about McCain there would have been no end to it. The Media would have made a HUGE deal about it.
