I hope you have a quicker than expected recovery. If you need anything call Edge! Anyways I will be home mid December so I hope we get some snow. Brother is in Kabul, Afghanistan and should be home for some riding around March. Good luck my friend.

Spoke with Jill last night and just got off the phone with Jeff. The surgery went ok, but was not 100%. The surgeon had a real hard time once he got in there and said that things looked pretty "pissed" off in there. The surgeon had a hard time getting to the disc itself but did remove some of the bone in the foramen opening to make more room for the nerve. Jeff sounded good this morning and hopes to go home tonight. As of now, he said he felt better and the extreme arm pain was gone, but time will tell over the next few days exactly how well the surgery did. I think Jeff will probably be on here later tonight or this afternoon to report directly.

hey guys....home now and doing a whole lot better! thanks for the tons of well-wishing and happy thoughts. oberti pretty much covered it in his post. not a total success but not a total failure either. the arm pain is gone and should only get better as the swelling goes down. i just have basic surgery pain (feels like pele bicycle-kicked me in the back of the neck) but other than that i'm good to go. i will do my snow-dance starting tonight!!

Glad to see you pulled out OK Jeff! Did they surgically mount Jill's head to your shoulder? Maybe I was mistaken on what you were having done? Hope you exploited yourself and got it on film bro. That would make for some great holiday conversations!

I think it is very important to take those antiinflamatories and TAKE IT EASY SO THE SWELLING GOES DOWN AND STAYS DOWN.
