jetting help 07 800r slp kit

does ant one know the right jetting for the head ypipe intake kit slp web site says 540 560 and the instuctions with the kit say 490 500 i rode it last weekend and it was turning on the det sencer at wide open . it also has last years gas in it and i was thinking maybe that was the problem but i need to get the jetting right first. oh ya 8000' and up kit

Bro-in-law has the same kit. Installed with the recommended 490/500 & ran for 2 days @ 600' no problems. Blew it up here @ home (2000') looked @ wash on good cyl & I believe went up to 510/520. Hopefully others will chime in with thier .02 as I think thier "revised spec's" are way on the ultra safe side.

rule number one!!- clean carbs, drain tank run fresh 92 with a pint of oil for first ride.....

dont forget greaseing the chassis, clean/inspect clutches....BJ

thanks bj but i put stable in it rebuilt the clutch and greased it before it was put away for the summer. i got the jetting figured out today i called slp and i need to go with the 540 mains they didnt say any thing about greasing the sled though ill try it maybe that will keep it from turning on the det sencer lol j/k
