So since people are coming from all over and different riding and elevation I am looking for locals from Mighty Montana to give feedback for the following.
Jetting,
Ski questions,
What to pack in your backpack.
etc. you get the hint.
I see that the pass there is around 3,000 feet how high is the riding areas?

Lolo pass is 5240 ft we can drop as low as around 4200 or as high as about 8700 ft average is between 5500 and 7000 . In deep powder we run two startingline trikeels mounted together ( 12" ) wide this is used for probly 90% of our play riding. We also have close to 300 miles of groomed leading to many of the play areas . Stock 600 with pods 270 main 17.5 pilot Checked jetting on two 07 800s 350 and 370 mains dont know pilots

what to bring

In my back pack I carry extra gloves, goggles, hand warmers, water, basic tools, radio, gps, lunch, towstrap, pocketsaw. Make sure everyone has a beacon, shovel, and most of all bring your cameras! I also recommend the double ski setup for the deep snow. The forest service is on patrol pretty much all of the time and everyone will need to buy temporary permits to ride in Montana and Idaho to avoid getting fined.
