January Trip

I have headed West each February for 25 years. This year I will have to go in January, hate to wait until March.

Are there any drawbacks to West Yellowstone/IP the 2nd or 3rd week in January? Typical snow, temperature, avalanches, etc.

I dont know there snow but will assume January snow is like everywhere else....deep Better not be heading out with shorties.
