Having set up timelapses for 6-8 hrs, I can say this is absolutely happening, anyone who thinks that contrails would linger around for 6-8 hrs is the real conspiracy theorist, the timelapses are showing this stuff lasts all day, and there are also other planes with regular contrails in the shots as well, its a stark contrast between "chemtrails" and contrails. The aerosol sraying will take a beautiful sunny day and completely milk it out, as a filmer, you tend to notice this things. This never happened before the late 90s- is aviation just "evolving"? Since when did airplanes "create" weather? How come some days you have them and other days you don't, do planes just not fly on those days? Google chemtrail airplanes and check out the images of planes loaded with beer kegs full of know what. I read G. Edward Griffin's book "The creature from Jekyll Island" about banking and its far from fiction, the guy is credible and very well educated. If a company like Monsanto needs to "create" a market for its crap, I wouldn't discount any scheme they come up with, and who know what other programs and been conducted under this.
it amazes me how many people think that our government wouldn't do half the **** they ARE actually doing to us! crawl out from under the rock you guys live under
And what exactly are you doing differently with your new found enlightenment?
There are plenty of things you can do to help rid your body of the things you are exposed to. No need for me to explain though for the majority of population will never believe what is happening for the fact that it's ON THE INTERNET...the INTERNET is just one big LIE. Even the declassified military records that are on the net must be a LIE due to being on the INTERNET!
I don't have a lot of spare time to investigate obscure theories that may or may not be true, with theoretical side effects that may or may not affect me, and theoretical cures that may or may not help IF there is a problem to help with.
Yes, most doomsday theories on the net are just that....just like the modern media; doom, gloom, exagerations, lies, and general BS to either get you to buy their media or buy into their theories.
This time last year you were as good as dead without the H1N1 vaccine according to the internet and media. Well I never got it and I'm still here. So to sit around worrying about this tin foil hat **** is a complete waste of energy to me.
its too bad so many of you keyboard quarterbacks don't put your time to better use.
I'm really disappointed by some of the other posts here, just unintelligible garbage.
You have no idea who I am, or what I do with my time every day. I can promise you that conspiracy theories, and even snowmobiling, are the least of my concerns right now.
Enjoy chasing your shadows...I'll keep making them for you.![]()
I just finished 2 days of hearing nothing but crap from the director of Avatar trashing the tar sands project in northern Alberta from his 10,000sq ft home in Cal. prior to flying up here in his private jet and then touring around in a fleet of helicopters like some knight in shining armour. Suggesting we should stop using Alberta crude because it's not environmentaly friendly. Now it seems that there are those out there that think we as a group of snowmobilers should stand up in public and demonstrate how environmentaly responsible we are. "Get a Grip" Any one here that wouldn't be sledding if these machines weren't as clean as they are? I doubt it. Read the forums. What percentage of owners here take a perfectly good, EPA compliant sled and then mod the crap out of it, making it about as environmentally friendly as that jerk-offs jet is when it pollutes the air as it races scheduled airliners to the Edmonton Int. at Leduc. How bout the tree huggers parading all over this planet promoting alternate energy sources? Any body remember Al Gore?
If you want to be an example of someone who believes in a green planet then give up the sh$t that makes it dirty. You want to save the environment from human contamination.....jump off a cliff because as long as you populate this planet you will be contaminating it, it's what we do best. We over populate and consume and by default, we will eventually ruin this planet.
As snowmobilers we enjoy ourselves at the expense of consuming fossil fuels. How can we legitamately stand up in a public forum and try to present ourselves as environmentalists. Maybe we should team up with NASCAR and Indy racing and form an alliance.
You want to be an environmental watch dog...go ahead. Gather your troops, head off to war and find your hill to die on. I'll be riding my sled and burning fossil fuels and I will contribute nothing positive to this planet while I'm doing it. Then I'll go back to polluting the atmosphere as I attempt to produce cheap food to feed the masses.
Come on jorli you know perfectly well what I'm saying about population. It's a global thing not just a local thing. Over populated countries all over the planet have people migrating to lesser popullated ones because they have no choice. No food, no water,no work, no education and no hope. Where do you think these imagrants are moving to? Alberta,Sask,Man,NWT,? Ya right. Try Vancouver,TO and Montreal. Just where they are needed right? I suggest again to you that you ask yourself a simple question....What will we run out of first as we countinue along the path of procreation?Yet another opinion backed by nothing but negative nonsense. With regards to your statement about over population, Canada has a birth rate of 1.3 and it takes a rate of 2.1 just to sustain the population. Without a birth rate of 2.1, a country needs to rely on immigration so that society doesn't collapse.
James Cameron!!!! What would expect to hear about the tar sands? The guy is heavily backing carbon trading-(Translation=invested in it!)

Please, go on listing why you shouldn't do anything to help protect our sport..... Now I can see why snowmobiling is so hated by all the environmental groups, attitudes like this are crystal meth to James Cameron ideologues. They are not only going to end our way of life, they'll make money doing it. It blows me away that so many people are just content ruining it for all of us.
Please, if anyone wants to attack me for trying support our sport, please DO!!!!!!! Just make sure you attack me on the issues that I've raised and the sources I've provided (and be sure to reference everything) because character assassination based your feelings shows that you have nothing valid to say.

And you better have a "leg to stand on" if your going to up against people who don't approve of what you are doing ie, sledding is totally optional and just a form of entertainment. The fact that it is strictly recreational would suggest that we as sledders are totally dispensable and the world would be a smidgeon cleaner if we didn't exist. I'm not suggesting that we sit back and watch the planet go to hell in a hand basket but rather that we choose a battle we can win and in a war against pollution a sledder does not stand a chance against a hiker/biker/clean air dreaming greenie who likely doesn't even fart.
As for Cameron...I think the dreamland he created in Avatar went to his head. I will never again support a two faced, opportunistic joke such as him. I don't care where he is from. What does he think the ashfalt that covers the land he lives on is made from? How bout he massive amounts of natural gas it takes to heat the properties he owns? The electricity he consumes to power these same facilities? He thrives financially off of the desire of humans to be consumers of non-essential things like entertainment and then he has the balls to come to the source of so much of the disposable income people have to support his lifstyle and suggest that we "shut-it-down" for a while and re-asses what we are doing there.......oh but wait..not until he fills his storage tanks with Jet "A" cause he has more dragons to slay and he needs that little baby to get there and learn something after he shoots his mouth off. He could have likely invested in a large wind generator for the money he spent on this last little episode. Maybe place it beside his homes and go green himself for a change.
I don't want our sport to die or to be killed just as I dont want our planet to be raped and plundered and left in ruins. I'm just trying to figure out how everyone thinks this will be reversed if no one wants to give anything up.
I agree that snowmobiliers as a group are our own worst enemy. Whether regarding environmental or safety (avalanche, etc) issues, we generally do the majority of the political damage to ourselves. I agree with bolstering sledders to be more proactive, however, you've picked a very strange target. I would find it much more logical to go after enviro-issues more directly related to our sport. For example, cat skiing and heli-skiing both involve copius use of fossil fuels for transporation to/from remote lodges and power generation on site. Not green by any measure, however, these guys beat us up in the media all winter. Why? Because they're organized and learned how to whine loud a long time ago. They keep (or at least portray) themselves that one notch cleaner and safer.....they don't have to be perfect; just slightly less unruly than us.I do believe it would benefit snowmobilers to start an environmental movement of our own. Snowmobiling is an easy target for environmental scrutiny, yet its effects are miniscule in comparison to real environmental issues- Stratospheric Aerosol Geo-Engineering could certainly be one that could use some real scrutiny. We are to going to lose our sport if don't get our act together and effect some real change. I think it would be very beneficial to think about these forums in an education capacity, rather than hosting a loud mouth contest.

Need to get emission data on the new machines to compare against other industries and maybe think about some noise restrictions on aftermarket pipes and silencers. Just my thoughts...
Personally, I think Ski doo is the Antichrist
