I get a kick out of all the idiots walking around with a particle mask on, thinking it will keep them safe feom the flu....it does virtually NOTHING. I was thinking of selling some nice North respirators and tagging them as pigflu protection, could probably make some quick $$ !!

off topic but something sure is messed up.oregon is getting 8.8 mil stimulas to protect fish and wildlife,but they are cutting down emergancy responce teams for car wrecks ect..
That is why there are Tea Partys, Its about wasteful spending!

BTw... mask do nothing but remind you not to touch your face. It is not airborn it is spread from physical contact.... WASH YOUR HANDS!
Make it a point to wash your hands every couple hours reguardless of what you have been doing, more if you handle food!

That about sums it up.
Obama and his administration are magicians. They need some misdirection to keep the American People occupied while they use sleight of hand to push through more "change." Everyone's attention is occupied by the swine flu, so nobody notices that they are using parliamentary chicanery to fast track socialized medicine through congress. Maybe the swine flu will be used as a diversionary tactic to cover up amnesty for illegal aliens, or an unprecedented land grab of 24 million acres in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming? Maybe magician Obama will pull a rabbit out of his hat that nobody expects. All I know is that whatever they're trying to accomplish behind the scenes while the world concentrates on the swine flu soap opera, is NOT going to be good for America!

Not just the Flu, but the social issues for Mexico. Countries overseas that import pork are not letting Mexican pork onto their shores. Nobody is going to Mexico, especially since Joe decided to scare everybody about flying or being in confined spaces.
That, along with the drug dealer problems that are in the media, (Real or Not) will send a blow to the Mexican economy. No work means a river crossing, and with the increase in crossings, comes the virus.

The job market in Mexico has been a joke for years (about 40 of them). I don't think the blow to the mexican economy will do much to increase the flow of illigals just because we don't have any jobs either. What it can do is further destabilize an already weak government and make it easier for the drug lords to win the war.

Haha it's working! I made a apt with my dentist today & could not get in untill next wed. I get a call just before lunch & they can get me in @ 1:30 today. Some guy was scared about the flu & canceled his cleaning apt
