Interstate 90 Snoqualmie Pass Update: Avalanche control work continues and it is now estimated that I-90 Snoqualmie pass will be reassessed Saturday, opening no earlier than Saturday evening. Opening the roadway will be based on avalanche risk analysis. The roadway will be opened when it is safe to do so. WSDOT will give updates as work progresses and information becomes available. // Snowing, blowing snow and poor visibility

This i what i get for not dragging sleds to spokane,stuck on the eastside.Now will get to ellensburg on sunday only to watch friends rip out there driveway and tear up reccer.A guy needs to have few key extra sleds stashed around these parts:beer;

temp is up to 33 degs at 5380 on grouse ridge,, have fun in the bottomless mashed taters!!!! watch out for the avys, today will be the day, oh ya its 35 on Blewett pass if anyone thinks there missing out

This rain is exactly what we need to settle things down. Were not missing anything but cement.

Time to clean clutches and grease up the skids for when it gets good again.

Yup. It was deep and heavy up there today. It probably would have been a bit much for you. Be thankful the pass was closed. It wasn't any fun at all..... It sucks putting first tracks everywhere in 3 feet of fresh.
 
Gaywater was the same as always....crowded, whooped out trails, wet snow and less of it. This was hopefully my one Gaywater ride for the year.....just to remind me why I never ride there. But the rain and fog was nice.:beer;
 
I am with Newtrout---was a real bummer riding 3'+ of unridden snow:D

While most of sat at home.

So the snow level has gone stupid--it was a hoot:)

Just another great day.....North was the choice! Thanks for the ride and dig out's, all. I agree, maybe a total of 30 on the hill for the entire day.

Best part: I can't remember a time when the road back to the trucks was so smooth.. :p
