It's a sad day

You asked for so here is my thoughts( poor materials + poor engineering = Kaboom

Polaris saved a buck or two using cheap Italian cranks in the 11 and 12's. So, probably screwed us on cheap cylinders.

allis-chalmers teamed up with fiat years ago to make the fiat-allis dozers...

we had several...we called them spagetti metal...very weak..
 
If someone has the ability to post a video, I can send them a 10 second video of the pistons rocking in both cylinders. Really scary how much play there is in both the top and bottom of the stroke in the cylinders.

--So, to recap--

-All 11-13 Polaris 800 engines need to replace pistons at 0 miles or more

--All 11-12 Polaris 800 crankshafts need updating or replacement with a 13 Fuji crank

jesus christ........a 2011 or 2012 etec with the flex edge track and t motion kit is looking good.
 
Those 2013 short block from Carls for $2900 are sounding pretty good .
Does any one have pictures of 10, 11, 12 and 13 together i am just wondering how much change is there in injector ports ?

--You can get a new 160 HP Suzuki Cat 800 HO longblock for under $2600

--A new Polaris 800 shortblock is over $3700

--Better keep those Polaris warranties up to date or else update crank bearings and pistons

--The warranty underwriters must be clueless as to what they are getting into or else very calculated
