Well we had AMAZING snow for about a week or so, but it's time for old man winter to wake up and let it dump! Anyway, heres a quick video and some pictures from the last week or so. As always, I'm open to suggestions on what I can do to make these videos better so let me know what I need to do differently.

Thanks! I hate to say it, but I think I may be done until we get another storm. Pretty slim down low, and tracks everywhere up high.. Pray for snow!

And if you don't pray... do the snow dance :)

Great pictures!

It's all about music selection and editing. I think you nailed it. I have 3 comments.

I dig the opening scene. I would have thought it would be cool to switch to a point of view or the ski angle you used that started around 1:35

Second comment is that the ski view that started at 1:35 was sick. I have seen several before but there was something different about this one. Not sure if it was the smaller screen withing a larger border, but it was cool.

Third is the first tree scene that ends around 2:30. I think you should have cut it 2 seconds earlier. My opininion is not to show the stoppage keep it flowing. Super small thing man. Everything else was top notch.

I think you edited well and had some nice visual movements that went along with the musical cadence and beat.

Nice work keep postin em up!

TGIT, will you post some pics of your hood camera mount and any advice you may have learned about constructing one? You can see it in one of the pics you posted but some up-close shots would be really nice... Thanks! BTW loved the movie! Great Job!

Looks good Tanner, what resolution are you filming in? I got a hero 3 for christmas and still haven't had it out yet. Keep the videos coming.

Thanks! You bet, I'll get some pictures up tomorrow.

Well for a lot of my pov footage I had it in 1080 just shooting with 30 fps. I have a hero 3 black as well and the footage that thing shoots is unreal! I can't wait to set up some shots and really slow it down with the 120 fps.

I think you nailed it!!! Maybe a different type of song, something faster.

So this mount is actually on my dad's sled, and keep in mind we are a little redneck but We just used 1/8" aluminum we got at Home Depot. We tried it last year and it wiggled with the camera on it, so we added some more support and that seemed to help. When I make something for my sled, I'm going to use a solid piece and not have a joint in the middle, I think that might help with the stability issue. We just wanted to get something that would fold up so we could put it in a bag when not using it, but he usually keeps it on all day haha! Anyway here are the pictures, sorry they're not the greatest, I was trying to take them in the pitch black in a trailer with my phone. If you want others or any other questions just ask!
