Well I can say after spending Monday shoveling 6 feet of snow off our decks and roof of our cabin there is an ice layer down a few feet that is going to cause lots of problems. We saw this layer cause a couple of slab slides on a couple hills that we never see slide and we have been riding there for over 20 years. Those bigs hills look awefully tempting especially with the turbos but that snow is so unstable right now. Now with more snow this week it just keeps getting more dangerous out there. Be safe everyone.
Thanks for the report. If you could include your location that would help a lot. Sometimes on a cabin, the ice layer has nothing to do with the snow conditions on the ground, but it gives us a heads up to look for it when digging a pit. Everyone be safe. Trees and meadows for awhile.
