That Funny - I started using Lake Cle Elum as it was the only Ebay screen name I could come up with that was not taken....I used it on at least 10 forums and Ebay.....Many now call me "Lake"........

wow, you guys are noobs.

About 15 years ago, I started lurking on the local dial-in BBS's. Those are long since gone, but there's a few that migrated to telnet/SSH access. They're still text-only, follow the "room" and "floor" format..... the dialup line for the remaining one i'm on was taken down in 2002.

Then came usenet and IRC. I was a professional usenet troll for many years. Still browse a few groups, it's a good place to find underground music and movies. I've been on several IRC channels for over a decade now.

When "The internets" gained popularity, I got into a few chan sites and forums. I don't really do the "forum" thing too much, still prefer IRC. That being said, i'm a member on a bullriding forum, two "lounge"-type forums, and snowest. There's others i've signed up for, but I don't visit them very often.

first one, checked out a couple others and created one at work..I'm a junky...Pretty much all my riding partners are from here and most folks I hang out with....
