Is a sled deck on this truck a stupid idea?

Wasn't me. Just a couple of buddies that failed physics. No tie downs. Happened fairly slowly.

That is a perfect example of why you shouldn't just use your 4 plastic hooks in the box though. I'm really suprised you don't see that happen more. My deck is secured to my gooseneck hitch, ain't no way it's moving!

6.5 foot bed. 8 foot deck, 4 inch lift, 35's.
Next time I would go with the Marathon Deck, longer ramp, better built.

Went out to the farm to grab it today. You sled will probably be longer and your truck it higher but this will give you a good idea.

Curious how long of ramp is that and approx how high is your deck? And can you actually make it up on the deck after stopping like that? Debating on whether or not to extend my ramp. My dodge is getting a 6" lift pretty quick, 35" tires, got a 8" ramp and beavertail so thinking I should add another 3' to the ramp?

The ramp is 10' and to the top of the deck is about 6'. Ill double check next time im outside.

Actually i can *****foot it up the ramp but you wouldnt want to go much faster or else you will have a cab-ordinment.

Ah that gives me a good idea thanks a lot, I better make mine longer. My deck is going to be about 5'9 up to and no way I want my ramp steepier then yours, i'd much longer have a 12' granny ramp :p

deck

heres another with a 8 ft deck and 12 ft ramp, gotta get them all on there somehow lol. this was oct 20th last year too.
