would like to put a 09+ narrow front on a 08 700rmk. I thought at one time polaris offered a conversion kit. is that still available? i have not been able to locate anything online... is there a part number for this??

thanks

Tim

I think your asking about the narrow front bumper and plastic kit. If so the part # is 2876986.

yeah i saw that after i posted the polaris link. I want to do it but i dont know if the plastic is work 400 i know the new bumper...but does it ride any different?

Its 3lbs off the front suspension....however probably more of an aesthetic thing and overall weight savings than an actual performance difference of noticeable size for the dollar amount. If you are looking for a better look of the different bumper, just buy a skinz bumper for a lot less. I have seen them anywhere from $150-$200.

I have an 08 D7 as well and ordered walker evans coilover piggyback shocks for it. Found out they wont fit without the 2010 bumper, nose pan and fenders. So a 800(cdn) pair of shocks actually cost me 1400(cdn). Anyway the piggyback shock would be another reason for swapping out to new plastic.

Which W/E shocks were you trying to fit on it? Did you try? I bought mine from Tri-City Performance, they fit like a champ through the full suspension travel with the older plastics.

x2

I have the remote resi needles, but with single rates and no sway bar. They fit perfect on my stock 08 bodywork.

So i search the old thread for like 4 hrs today on this topic cause i remember there being people who took step by step photos, i found the old threads but the photos where gone, if some one who has them can you please post them?
thanks
Mike

Gone sleddin .. if I remember right you already have the sway 09' sway bar on that sled. I believe I retro fit the 09' sway bar and lower A-arms on that sled. Just a few parts you wont need.....:face-icon-small-win
