family trip

hey my family and i just arrived at West Yellowstone and were talking about renting me a sled to go out and ride, but I have never been here before and dont know where to go I like boondocking and climbing, but needs to be pretty much visable by the trail and easy for my family to get to (They don't have any experience) any advise would be great or if there is a group that doesn't mind a tag along, the family can do something else and I would go ride, and I can keep up.
thanks

Looking like a gorgeous "Bluebird Day" according to the webcam....Sure wish I could be out there right about now!!

Goldenwest,

I sent you a PM.

I sent you one back........

Been riding the last three days and the blue bird days are setting the snow up fast. And with all the people here this weekend it's gonna get trashed. We will need some new snow to freshen things up next week. It's nice to ride on these sunny days but we pay for it....................

Flames were HUGE! I can still see either fire or lights from the FD and smoke rising right now. Hope everyone is alright and they gets things figured out.

Chris.

My wife and I along with my Bro and his wife are coming from Western Oregon to West Yellowstone the week of the Expo. We'll be getting in on the 8th, so we figure to have about 5 days of riding before we back off a little and take in the Expo.

So, what I'm wondering is, besides hiring a guide, does anyone have time off to show us around? We're going to do the park ride one day, but we'd like to explore areas outside the park for sure.

Any and all info is appreciated.

Thanks,
