We had a great ride yesterday, but the light was very flat with fog. Once we broke through that we had all the untouched powder we wanted..................

Coming to West from North dakota

Hello everybody,

I am coming to west yellowstone on Feb 20th and i am wondering if I should just rent a sled or bring the one i have. I have an 02 XC 600, I have been riding for a long time but have never been to the mountains. I am going with people who ride trails, and some of trails. I just don't want to end up getting stuck all the time. Any information would be good.

Thanks

when i go out there, i rent, that way i get what you need to ride the
backcountry. looking at gw's pic's lately, you are going to need a mountain
sled for sure, trail sled just won't be any fun, unless trails is all you want to do.

Great days on the snow!

Hi everybody: Just a few pics of a 3-day ride in West Yellowstone by the N.D. Sled Dogs. The snow's just phenomenal and there's plenty of it. I'm sore and tired, so I guess we had a good time!
