I purchased a bd kit for my 2011 pro last season. I want to buy the intercooler upgrade but I am worried about to much lag. I have never ran an intercooler before so I don't know much about them. Some info on this would great.

You wont hardly notice any difference in throttle response between intercooled and non-intercooled. Plus with the intercooler you will run at least 50 degrees cooler airs temps. So it is well worth it. Very clean fitting also.
Always run an intercooler if you can. Way more power and less chance of deto.

I would highly suggest the IC, as I too have heard from a couple reliable sources that it is making the sled run way stronger due to colder temps, and hasn't added any lag.

A well design intercooler is a must in a turbo application, any serious kit should include it .....not as an option. intercooler keeps charging temps lower(prevent detonation) and also will keep your reeds in good shap much longer(the heat is delaminating the reeds and then they fail).
That sure is an ecconimcal kit.. wonder how fitment would be though
There are SO many variables that affect the performance and character of the turbo with intercooler.
Turbo size & A/R trim, fuel controllers, charge tube, volume of the intercooler and how the air flows thru it..... etc etc...
The important thing is that it is designed as a system.
IMO... with a new intercooler setup and update that brings your 2011 kit to a 2012 ... the price is a give-away.
I would do it.
More boost on the same gas, longer reed life and lots of other benefits.

Price wise it sure does, just waiting for my pro to see if how much room I have to work with, fitment should be fine with all the product choices they have ....I'm hoping
what about silbers intercooler? It says on his site he has an optional intercooler, though he says one isnt needed... has anyone ever ran silbers IC on the PRO or did he just scrap producing the IC for the PRO cuz i havent heard of guys using them, or ever seen one
