$290/yr Met Life $300k Liability/ $100k property/ $5k for injury to rider incase buddy borrows it. $500 deductible. I did have a claim last year so I think I am 10% - 20% higher than I should be.

State Farm hits me $325 a year and that includes my clamshell trailer($3000 value). Full coverage w/$500 deductible. I have nothing else with State Farm. Progressive wanted $590 on their recent quote. Make sure that you mention your snomo trailer when getting quotes and that it is included(in writing) on your policy with whomever you get coverage through.

Yup, Oregon's rates look damm good.

Wow, here in Canada (British Columbia) she is a wopping $726/yr. Couldn't afford not to have insuance as parts are crazy priced compared to the lower 48.

Almost every insurance company uses Foremost for " other Vehicles " as does my homeowners insurance,, try them

Foremost - liability only $300,000 limit, covers 5 sleds (2002 trail RMK, 2007 Dragon 700 RMK, 2008 Dragon 700 RMK, 2012 RMK 600 and 2012 Pro RMK 600) total policy cost is $190 a year for all five sleds.

The financial gus will tell u if u can't afford to buy don't, meaning that you should only buy a toy if you can insure the loss your self. I pay cash for sled and can take the hit for damage in the event of emergency. BUT I like to have insurance on a newer sled to bet the line so to speak. Last year with 200 miles on new pro I hit a stick on the community road going 15mph. Was enough of a hit to throw me over handlebars. The stick bent a arm and poked hole in bulkhead. Got $6k for that. You never know when and where you will lose it. I like to have the peace of mind when I am out throwing it around. Not to mention the liabity coverages.

This is the quote that I just got for my 09 POL Dragon. Is this reasonable? Considering getting insurance so I can slide it into a tree after the engine blows up ! :face-icon-small-ton
