Installing a water temp probe

Anyone Know the ID of the coolant hose between the engine and front exchanger? (under/behind the recoil)

Or is there and extra port on the engine one could use?

I was going to splice into the coolant line until i was given another idea. I ended up tapping my water temp probe into the exchanger tube where it comes out of the exchanger and then goes to the engine. Basically you pull the can and tap the tube as it comes out of the exchanger and before it goes into the rubber hose. I don't have any pics right now because my sled is about an hour away but i'll try to get some asap.

I've had this setup for over a year now with no issues. PM me if you have other questions on location.

get the 26mm adapter. thats what i put in my '08 m8 and worked fine.

btw... i asked this same question a year or two ago and got the answer from you on HCS! lol...

I wasn't sure the 10's used the same hose as the 07-08's
If I would have looked at the parts list I could have answered my own question, they all use the 0610-705 hose (It's Friday, I get sidetracked easy)

Ordered a Koso gauge, want to be ready to install as soon as it gets here.

I like tcpetersons idea, may look into that for an option

some pics

Sorry it took so long to get pics. Been busy with midterms coming up.
