well since Im layed up with my injury I was curious how many other people had season ending injuries this season! sled related or not post them up!!

Yup, had my suspension rail spear my track and I went over the bars and landed on my head, which resulted in a compression fracture in my back, ended my season a month early Couple weeks after we got 13 inches of pow oh well, u live u learn

I speared the track on my old Mountain Max a few years ago and did a superman move over the bars, fortunately the only thing injured was my wallet, had to by a bunch of stuff including a track. I hate to hear of these injuries, heal well guys!

Just got home from the hospital. Cornice drop gone bad. Rode lifeflight back to town last sat. Knee surgery that night, 2 days rest then surgery on my wrist, then back in the hospital for blood clot in the leg that I had surgery on.

Everyone should get a lifeflight membership.

Rockdog shin guards are a must as is a tek vest or like.

I broke my back two weeks ago . Burst fracture at T12, mild compression fracture T-11 and also some damage to T-9

Thread is here has video in it and a picture of the job. Nothing huge just a 20-25'. So bright I don't think I saw the landing and my legs weren't ready

Looks like I need to take a year off to let this heal all the way...

I ordered the Thor Force guards, haven't decided on the vest yet. Probably the Freestyle. I'm not that hard of a rider but I do like the trees and I put myself in a position where I couldn't see on the other side of some trees and theere was a nice drop off. I didn' t see it coming. The next thing I knew, I was laying there in front of my sled!.
Considering what happened to M80, Boondock, Perk,and a few other guys this season, I'll consider myself very lucky and I learded a couple of valuable lessons too. Have the proper protective gear and don't go around corners (trees) where you can't see what you might fall into!....lol. Best of luck to all that are healing up.

Ya i also have been out due to injury, 1 vertebra out, and my SCI joint is pretty messed up nerve damage the size of a nickel and some fractures. Happened at the first RMSHA hillclimb in preston, ID. Pretty Sh!ty winter!!

I'm pretty sure I'll have to have surgery on my shoulder but I just bought an 09 TM8 so I haven't quit for the season yet. Went out today and my shoulder got to hurting so bad I think I peed down both legs. Probably won't play much golf this summer!!
