I have a 05 rev 800 144" and am wanting to go to a 151". Now here is my question, which 151" is the best track and would I have to change my drivers? I thought I remembered the challenger lite was the best but cann't remember for sure. I did do a couple of searches but not really coming up with the anwsers I was looking for. Thanks guys in advance

Nobody wants to respond to this? I remember when this site would help people.:face-icon-small-dis

i think you want to get the powdermax track the challenger lite was the trencher of all trenchers really only good for concrete snow in the spring time

your drivers should be ok both tracks are 2.52 the track you want is camoplast 9940 i beleive

I'm a little late to "help" you, but I just went from a 144 to a 151. I got a new challenger/powdermax track with 2 1/4" lugs. Same as what came on my 06 x but longer. That track is awesome and I think if I went with something different it would have been like a downgrade. Do it if you can!

The powdermax was a ported track .less flotation to some.the camoplast unported challenger is the better track.you should be able to p/u a used powdermax pretty cheap.I have one for sale.camoplast unported challenger16*2.38*154.less than 100miles on it.perfect shape.$500.00obo

Me and a buddy just put on the Camo Challenger 151"x16"x2.313" and love them. Put mine on an 04 Rev and he has an 07 Rev that came with the Challenger Lite and unless the snow is hard as a rock the track was horrible and falls apart really quick. Didn't have to do any mods to the sled to get track on either as long as you get the 2.52 pitch...

If you run a 2.3 you will need to drop a tooth from 10 to 9 on your 2.52 drivers or clearance will be too tight.Take a look at the drivers on a 06 with the 2.3 track. This will also drop your gearing a bit.Dont use the lite track,Tracks USA has the challenger which is a good all round performer.

If you have to change drivers from 10 tooth 2.52 to 9 tooth 2.52 to fit the 2.25" powdermax that you buy new, why not just get 7 tooth 3.0 and a 150x16x2.5 CE. It will probably be perfectly geared when all said and done from the driver swap too.

I posted simular question on here and at other forums. 07 with a 144 and want to go long when i have the money. Was thinking of going to the new 154 XP track. Then found out they are 2.86 pitch. Some one also suggested that I just go with 7 tooth 3 pitch and go with the 156 camo xtrm. Did some more research since that is all I can do with out money right now. Found a guy on another forum how went with 8 tooth 2.86 drivers and 155 camo xtrm on his 06. After talking with that guy and doing some reading. I have decided to go with the 8 tooth 2.86 drivers. They should be just a tenth of an inch bigger then the stock drivers. Plus I look at it this way. If I go 3 pitch I have to use an after market track. So if for some reason something happens to the track I would have to find another 3 pitch. Witch is hard to find a good used one and I don't have that kind of money just laying around to buy a new one. I would rather be riding then siting waiting for the founds to replace the track. So for me I am going to go with the 8 tooth 2.86 drivers and pick up either a 154 or 163 XP track. Easy to find because sometimes they don't even get ridden on and they change them out. As far as the suspension goes I am up in the air about that. I talked to Redneck on here and he went from a 144 to a XP 163 rear suspension and track on an 06. Thinking about that. Sorry this is long but figured I would share what I have come up with and the direction I may go.
