indy dan bottom end owner

for those snowmobiler who own the indy dan bottom end in your snowmobile, so what is your total miles on you indy dan bottom end? miles, broke down, etc.. ? I have a indy dan bottom end in my vertical escape, only has almost 200 total miles this year.
just wonder if anyone has made it over 3000 miles?

I'm on my 5th year and just lost a rod bearing . couldn't tell you the mileage i have no speedo.

I have about 1600 miles on my sled and about 1300 on my wifes. No issues at all with the cranks. His customer service is the best I've ever seen.

You will not find a better bottom end on the market or a better man to deal with.This guy is a wealth of information and has been more than fair to me.I shipped him my broken 700(from Atlantic Canada) and he sent back an 800 with all the info to make it go.I had the SLP pipe,heads,clutch on my 700 and he told me what I needed to change to make it all work on my now new 800.3000 miles on this motor and it hauls donkey.Its an '04 700/800 Switchback and it stays with or ahead of the new sleds on the trail.Off the trail it works even better.I have a 1.5 inch Crossover track on it which helps in this department though.
Anyway I have alot of confidence in Dan and recommend him to anyone.

I too "bent over" for one of his bottom ends. Had an issue when I first got it back, however, Dan handled the issue immediatly making my situation right. I literally beat the s$%# out of my sled and it runs very strong... Another guy in my group did not want to pay up for one of Dans bottom ends....he went a different route to save $300.00 ......well, his rebuild lasted 2 years and he snapped the crank again....so, I bought the sled and if I choose to rebuild this motor, I would not send it to anyone else!!!

Yes he does charge more but with everything in life......you get what you pay for!!! And if there is an issue....he will be fair.
