hi, i have a Polaris Indy 500, it starts fine and when we lift the track we can spin it but as soon as we put it down it wont move and it smokes and smells like rubber burning. we switched up the belt, but still the same. not sure if its the belts or more serious

Any chance the hyfax is shot? I know if you run it without snow, the hyfax will get warm and then the track clips can melt in. I'm wondering if the hyfax might be catching the clips and not allowing the track to spin when there is weight on it.

I would take the belt off, lift the rear and turn the secondary clutch by hand to see if everything is turning freely from that point back as well.

It could be that you have the wrong drive belt for that sled.
