ok i need some advises here........i pretty much know the problem but what do you guys think?? bought a t-nytro(impulse) and ran it two times, each time nytro ran great for half an hour and then, no fuel on boost???????????
no code on purelogic box, just running lean .......and detonate(dies). once in my garage for a day, working good again but as soon as i it the cold again, seem like fuel box freezing?? prologger read boost, a/f,ect. ok.....but the fu$ker run lean on boost for whatever.....map sensor as been relocated close to the radiator, so i'm sure it didn't freeze out, what's left except fuel box freezing out since prologger read all sensor ok?????

need help.

forgot to tell you but of my run was at -20 celsius and today was around -17 celsius wich is not really cold for us......i'm at 300 feet here.

Hey Supra,

If it is that cold make sure you are running a little liquid heat in the gas. That aluminum tank will cause water condensate inside and cause freezing. The regulator is propably getting some freezing fuel/water in it. This is why under boost you get no fuel. The regulator is fed your psi by the prologger via boost lines and dumps in fuel at a optimum rate of 2:1 once you build boost to accomidate the extra need. This is probably why after you take it out of the garage it runs good for a while then stops. It is freezing up.

PS when you gonna order your seat??? I have not heard from you.

HI kevin,
thanks for the tip i will check what the hell is going on this week.
as for the seat, i was so busy at my dealers the past month, didn't find time to uninstall and send it to you, this week i'm taking apart the sled to go all around AGAIN and i should be able to send it.....the thing is i don't want to loose snow time(season is so short) .......i will send pics of the seat(under) so you can see if we can simply exchange it.

check that rubber hose going to your control box if there is moisture in there then you take it out to the cold it will freez i have seen this problem befor

the fuel box didn't show green blue light so it is sensing m.a.p. boost, so was the prologger.

forgot to tell you all, while driving(cruise) yellow light was on and on acceleration(boost) the light was switching to red but not adding more fuel.
when the nytro started to getting crazy lean on accel. i saw while cruising two yellow light completely on the left and if i was pushing throttle to accelerate, yellow lights stayed there and the red one was showing up too. but fuel was coming more.....

does a blue light come on on your control box when there is boost.

you mean when it is running ok or when problem start??if when it is blurping(lean) on boost, no blue light.....simply swithching from yellow to red .

on a normal run, what would be the light sequence .......green,yellow,red, isn't it?

Dunno much about the impulse but was having trouble with my MCX this season. Initially i thought it was an electrical wire... ruled that out... then i thought it was water in the vacuum line... ruled that out... Someone suggested VAPOR LOCK.... did some more venting in the hood and BAM problem solved :)

A blue light will come on under boost it will be to the right side of the control box if no blue light then it is not senseing boost. you can unhook the boost line going to the box and while it is running blow hard in the line and make the light come on and it should make the idle change. if you blow about 10 lbs into the line at idle it will kill the engine. most likly ice or a bad box. My sled was doing the samething but it was the box It didn't matter if it was cold or fresh out of the shop.

Send the box into Impulse or Pure Logic. It should be showing the blue light on boost. If you are not seeing a blue light, then you are fueling as if it were not turbocharged. These boxes are sensitive to moisture. Most guys that have had experience with the Pure Logic box mount them where they can see them when riding. The box tells you what it is doing with the lights as you accelerate through the fuel curve.

I Have a lot of venting done(filter skin) to the nose part of the hood.......

i tought if the box was not sensing boost a green......................blue light should appear??am i right?......thanks for infos i will check on that. i already made sure there was no condensation in the lines.......all zipthight......

i will call paul at impulse on monday he can help i'm sure but everything is pointing towards the fuel box or fuel regulator frozen(as snow jw suggested on a pm).....since fuel tank is aluminum, make lots of condensation and then freeze up the regulator after a few minutes......i wasn't adding fuel anti freez but from now on i will..........i will let my snowmobile outside now on, no more garage for her.

the box is sealed with silicon but everything is telling me it is a bad fuel box causing all that. i will for sure call paul on monday to change that box.

I agree i think the box needs a re flash, but with the condensation worry with the aluminum tank. I would not go the the extreme of leaving that hot rod out side!!. If your worried about condensation, which i cant see there being enough to be a problem for ya,make sure you have a full tank of fuel when its in side, then you know there cant be any condensation.

dont leave youre sled out side , its worth way more than a bottle of fuel line anti freeze . i had no problems last year, i just added 3 caps of antifreeze to each tank of gas. if you think its youre regulator try putting a towel or some thing around it . are you running the sled at high speeds around a lake or some thing or climbing with it ? the pl boxes arent perfect either my first one didnt even work lol . now i tune my sled and put it inside the hood for the rest of the day

i will take it inside!!!!will disconnect all hoses(map sensor) and make sure everything is dry and connect back and isolated them. will send back the box and get a new one and cover it(or install it in the hood) and finaly cover the regulator......and add some gas antifreeze.
i think it will solve the case! lol!

the sled runs fine for 20-25 minutes each time then no fuel added on boost....can't be abything but map hoses freezing or regulator or fuel box itself........!
anyway thanks for the input.:face-icon-small-coo

My sled always sits out in the cold, I live in the interior of Alaska, and have never added a drop of iso heat to my tank in the last year, it just has not been an issue with condensation and the aluminum tank. My vote is the pure logic box, I just repalced mine after my second season on it, under boost it would not add fuel, the light at the far right was not blinking blue.

seems like my problem........first thing tomorrow a new box......
