Yes, I do still have SH's #. Sounds like I'll probably be up in that area one way or the other on Saturday. I'll let you know what I'm doing for sure tomorrow.

I did. Ended up having to take it to the dealer again to get it apart! I tried and tried to get it apart last sunday and ended up breaking the puller beating on it. I picked up a new spring while I was there and threw that in this week. Gonna see how she behaves with that and go from there. You gonna go up Saturday?
 
Marty, take your skidoo product to my house next time...

me and two buddies should be in that parking lot at 10ish....wish i had room in the trailer, but i dont....be here or be queXX;)

We get an early start usually. We will be at the Coalville gas station at 7:30am Marty if you can get there early. otherwise, see you at Double at noon.
 
So much for a week of riding!!

:mad: Well, looks like instead of riding, I'm gonna be wrenching. Met SH and GP in the parking lot this morning. Got 4 miles up the road and BAM!!! At first it felt like I just blew a belt. Then, I got the clutch cover off, the belt was fine, tried to turn the crank and didn't like the sounds I was hearing. Got dragged back to the parking lot, came home, pulled the y-pipe off, and this is what I saw on the mag side.

Looks to me like the connecting rod went through the side of the piston.
 
Bummer Marty. We just got back to our cabin. The ride back was COLD. My face felt like it was going to fall OFF! So sorry about your sled. Hopefully your wrenching as I type so you can make it up before you have to go back to work. You got our #.
 
marty - dude thats sucks sooooooo bad, and the worst is you're totally a good guy, let me know what i can do to help...that pic is so huge it looks like the piston pin is sticking through?????

on a lighter note, we had a great ride today, found so wicked untouched, finally got to ride with kim kim and stanger...saw ron on the hill and tried to point him where i was going, i tend to ride a few yards away from the trail packer group....anywho, saw a ton of folks i know at double, good to see ya....did not see ron or gp again...thats rude!!;)

ron - im caoming back on monday....ill pack gas this time, as ive came back on fumes more then most this year, id rather drag her home then get towed for running out of gas:rolleyes:

Was a good day with a lot of fresh pockets of POW. Holy Chit it was a cold trail ride though.

Ray: after we saw you and said you were going to go eat at Double we decided to go play for a bit since we were just there waiting for everybody at NOON. That's when we ran into Sweetxpbeach and crew. Was nice to see everybody and mingle while Ray was taking in the views from above. Well that's what we assumed you were doing up in the trenches. As far as being rude I think Kim won that award. Holy Rooooost. LMFAO

You guys left so fast, I was looking around for guys in Green jackets to roll up.

We burned thru a lot of fuel as well.

Do you remember Andrew (alaskaguy)? had the same sled and same issues. Could never get it to run and had the same end result with his motor.
Maxwell had coolant issues all day today as well. Luckily we were able to get him out and back though. We have spare sleds Marty.
Keep in touch.

Krista.....you were a trooper today!!! Dan about had a heart attack when you started side hilling on yamaha!!!! He really was more worried about you than the sled ;)

That really sucks marty. I was lucky as hell to get out without a tow. Was losing coolant. Had to stop and refill about every 2-3 miles on the way out. Marty I don't work all week. With Jacobs parts, I bet we can get that up and running by weeks end.
