I'm looking for a set of good bars

I am planning on useing RSI hand heaters but i still have to reccomend Pro Taper.

Ride a sled wiht the wider handel bars and you will love it.

If you would like to have wider bars than what we offer you have a couple of options. You could go to our straight style 10 degree bar. Pleanty of width and you can cut them down to your desired width. You can cut any of our handlebars down for your desired width. Also if you bolt on any of our aluminum hooks it will add length to your handlebar. About 1/2" or more depending on where you measure and where you ride with your hands.

We have our Backcountry bars the width they are based on rider feedback and input. If the bars are too wide it makes sidehilling and trail cornering more difficult.

Thank you,
RSI

Yeah I'm sure that I want more width, I would be going with hooks no matter what bar I bar, but I'm still liking yours the best. Do you stand behind the strength of the bars? I want to be able to roll the sled over and not worry about the bars.

Ok good, that's what I want'ed to hear. I'll most likely order the setup at the end of the month.

You won't go wrong with the RSIs.
I've run everything from Tag, Renthal, Fly, to Solex before going to the RSIs.
I must admit that the over all feel and controll I get with the RSI set up is by far the best I've had yet.

Don't forget the RSI High Powered hand warmers, especially on aluminum bars.
I did some of the testing with RSI on these and they worked very well.
We did not wrap the bars either, just stuck them straight to the aluminum and put the grips over them.
The aluminum normally dissopates the heat from a warmer, but not with these.
They got very warm and stayed that way.
Great product and a definate MUST HAVE

Hear is acrappy pic i took with my cell.

I'm a big fan of the Skinz Protective Gear (SPG) handlebars...The RSI bars are super high quality too as well as the other accessories.

The freeride/freestyle bars are nice... but for all day big mountain backcountry riding, I prefer the lesser angles that a pure mountain bar offer. Easier on the wrists and body, IMO.

I'd really like to see Wade make a tapered mountain specific bar with built in mounts for the grabstrap, carbon wrapped with simple short 45 degree hooks built into the bar. Now that would be the ticket.

For mountain riding, I like to have the Mountain Grab Strap mounted to the bar... personal pref... Many like the grab strap, some don't

I like a clean install and don't like having to use a U_Bolt clamp to mount the mountain-strap to the handlebars.

The angles on these bars are ideal for stand up riding and are much stronger than stock bars. The crossbar adds a lot of strength as well.

SPG is a quality driven company that has taken the time to answer a lot of questions on the phone and has come up with some great products.

http://www.skinzprotectivegear.com/snowmobileproduct/riserbars.html

They currently have 2" and 4" rise bars with or without bar hooks and, which I think is great... at my request built in mounts for Mountain grab straps.

They will have 6" 8" and 10" rise bars available in August for you guys planning your summer projects.

Available in Black, Blue, Red, Green, Yellow, Orange

These bars are very high quality with deep knurling in the clamp area, all cromoly construction with 5 degree rise and 8 degree sweep for perfect stand up riding feel.

There are a few different vendors on the 4M here that sell the SPG products... give em your business!!

SPG's full line of bars...These show the hooked bars, available as straight bars, without hooks, as well

Great for the M-S and Dragons / Assault No extra Block riser needed.

You can use our short or long hooks in any of our handlebars and position them in any direction you want. I could see the desire for a pre bent hooked Backcountry bar but if we do that you are stuck with a fixed width. With our bolt on hooks you can custom cut the bars to your desired width and also be able to use one piece throttle block assemblies. When the hooks are pre bent you can't use a one piece throttle block and the width is fixed.

On the mountain strap keep your eyes open for something in the works. We offer one that uses u-bolts. The U-bolts can be less than desired when you have a hi end handlebar system and u-bolts exposed.

Thank you,
RSI
