28' Charmac Tri Sport silver and black. The Tri sports seem to be the new wave of the future of sled haulers. They are much better for multi use and you can haul Rhinos, cars and sleds and they tow better with the lower center of gravity and the big wheels and axels. Fit and finish is beautiful. Its steel but I have a Duramax so I dont mind a few hundred pounds and Im really gonna take care of the rust control. Alum would have been about 20k, this was $14,600k out the door with 6 mo no interest. Has a 75inch front door, lots of the new trailers have the door that wraps around the corner but they have a cable right in the cornerbend so that is still in the way. This has no cable which is nice.
I figure sleds come and go but you keep your trailer for a long time as long as it stays nice. The floor is bare, because most people who buy these wanna do their own thing to them, and Im gonna coat it with this thick deck paint from home depot called restore. It can be re coated and has great traction. http://charmactrailers.com/Pages/Motorsports/Snow/Tri Sport/Specs.html

great post. I also have the tri sport. It hauls Harley's, rzr's, cars, and even pickup trucks ( my rear door is rated at 3000 pounds. ) oh, it also hauls my sleds.

didnt waste any time coating the floor. Im very happy with how it turned out and the coating was only $80 at HD for 5 gals.

I spread it on the first coat with the grout spreader. For the second I thinned it out with water since its water based and rolled it over real thoroughly. It has great traction and looks great. I may roll over the top with a floor sealer I use at my restaurant that is really tough and cheap from Sams club. Nice thing about this is I can roll on another coat in about 15 mins anytime.

Dude I love the flex in the first pic;). I'm interested in the floor coating!! I had mine sprayed with a rhino liner like bed spray and it has held up ok in the last 3 yrs but has maybe 3 spots that the carbides have snagged and tore a hole in it. I'm sure the spots will get worse as time goes on and moisture gets under the liner.

I found a great place to get the back door drape enclosure! Mine was under $200 and is pretty cool!!!!!

Freak you doing a heater? Ive been looking into it for the last month and trying to figure it all out. Will totally go with the forced air furnace but want to vent it down to the floor and the only one I have found that is made to duct is what they call outside serviceable so instead of cutting 2 small round holes for exhaust and intake I have to cut a hole the entire size of the unit and have a big grate on the side. Anyone have suggestions?

Good to see you back in the game freak!! What's going on the inside of the trailer? A cpl of 2up touring sleds??

4d thats not a flex, Id be happy to show you a flex if youd like ;) I think this deck restore would work well over your rhino line but you would have to get it real clean I would think. Post the info on the rear flap door Id like to do that.

Nice trailer, reminds me bout a lowboy haulmark i pulled a time or two, anyways can i lease it through the winter ??? :face-icon-small-win

Peace-

Brian's Canvas in the Freeport center in Clearfield 801-776-0720 talk to Todd I think was his name

Mine was $175 out the door. I still need to install it but looked like it will be easy and just what I wanted. Black 1/2 up clear the rest of the way. Took them 2 wks after they measured my trailer.

If you have the money go with a Esbar diesel heating system.
It's what they use in marine boats and what truckers use to hear their sleepers when it's super cold and are not allowed to idle their motors.
