People are being banned left and right. Banning takes place by username paired with an IP address. Should you get banned you can create an alter persona and post away. Should they ban your IP address, simple use a proxy IP address and then sign in under another alter.
In short I think some of the Utah people are a little pissed off at the undue moderation that is occuring in our little playpen. Which is really just a reflection of the over moderation occuring on the entire site.
Now call me after 12 (i gotta get my phone fixed) and let me know where you and Kimbro slice are riding.

Harris publishing doesnt care, they read what we are saying. they are members on this forum in one way or another. and yet they still handed control over to christopher and from what I can tell 100% support his changes.
But if all of us called and cancled are subscription to the mag then maybe they would get the clue. But it would take all of us for it to be effective.

Canceling subscriptions hurts alot more people than just Harris Publishing.
I for one will see a direct impact on people canceling mag subscriptions. I happen to like the mags Harris puts out also.
I have no issue with Harris publishing, and I know Ryan personally. He is a stand up guy, go getter, and a really good person.
The problem i have with this site is that there are SO MANY MODERATORS who each have their own opinion of what is ok and what isnt. Some let things slide, others are way to extreme either way. Caught in the middle are us, the users. It seems things have gotten to the point of, shoot first, ask questions later. Stop trying to save us from ourselves. Too much government causes people to leave and seek freedom elsewhere. Back off and let people breath.
If i cant get on here and read about how much freak can bench press, how gay fordy, hatcher, and gravy are, how much snow is at GP and Sledhead_Ut's cabin, then im gonna log on somewhere else and read it. And with me goes all my answers to the ridiculous amounts of PM's i get from fans asking me questions about set up, snow conditions, dealers, clothing, videos, photos, and everything else you can imagine. Thats whats at stake here...

AGREED Phatman!! I don't understand why we need so many moderators either. Whats the point of having a button to report a user or post if it is not being used as intended.
Having moderated a forum before, it wasn't constantly POLICING but rather allowing users to submit instances in which it was the moderators job to review, make a decision, and alter as necessary. But it was the users that notified not just moderators policing.

I have had a subsricption (that I pay for) to SnoWest for about 10 yrs. I have let all my hunting mags go (dont call peta on me) I like SW and wont let it go no matter what happens here. I think the VERY bottom line is this 4M need us a helluva lot more than we need it!
