Let me guess, the primary spring was in to, huh? Now if your clutch temps are high it's because your clutching is off so you need to add a stiffer primary spring to add more grip or sqweeze to your belt, don't worry about the extra rpm it's just the belt being sqweezed more by the spring. Don't believe me? Just ask OT![]()
LOL, yeah squeezing the belt harder makes the RPM's go up, really it does.

I've come up with a new theory. I think when you're carving on the right side gravity pulls the movable sheave down and grips the belt. If you just carve on the right side all day you can remove those stupid springs, arms and ramps. What say you OT?
