If you we're buying a new sled this year?

Obviously we don't yet know what the 2015's are going to offer (other than Yamaha of course). But if you we're going to buy a new mountain sled this year which direction would you go? Whether its trying to find a deal on a holdover 2014 or getting a 2015. Assuming you had a great dealer near you that sold all major brands so that wasn't part of the equation. Also assuming you weren't a brand loyal rider. What are you riding now and who would make a switch from their current brand?

I have an 04 rmk 800 mod and an '08 rmk 700.

I am looking at Pro RMK's and Ski Doo Summit XM's but must admit I am a bit intrigued by the New Yamahas. Cats are great too but it just seems like they've been a step behind Polaris and Ski Doo these past couple years.

I have a 13 Pro 163 and love it. I have also been on a 14 cat 162 track with a slp stage 3 kit and thought that is a great sled as well. It wasn't as forgiving as my pro but has allot of power and handled great in the deep powder. Should wait to see what is new and if nothing go with a 14 to save some money.

Snow bike is definitely tempting. Grew up riding and racing dirt bikes. Tough to make a change when I've only been into snowmobiling for about 5 years. Seems like they'd be awesome though.

loving my 14 summit x 163. ride with a lot of pros. both are great sleds and handle different. ride both and see which you like better, cant go wrong either way.

My cousin and a buddy are both rolling new summits. They are extremely happy with them. One of them has rode nothing but Polaris in the past. I think I'd consider a hold over 14 Summit if I was getting a new sled next season. Although I'm pretty happy with my 09 cat so I might wait. They aren't really doing anything I can't. Might exert a little less energy is all.
