If you didn't ride a M series, what would you ride?

I got to wondering............ if I hadn't bought my M8 Sno Pro last spring, what would I have purchased?

For me it would probably be the Skidoo Summit XP 154. I started riding Skidoos as a kid in Northern Minnesota in the later 60's and early 70's. To me the idea of buying a Skidoo was like going home. As a kid riding Skidoos I learned to hate Cats and Scorpions at a young age (the neighbors rode them).

With that line of thinking, I was really smitten by the Blue and White Summit last year, the yellow 50th anniversary Summit (especially the logo) really got my attention and I just love the copper color of the 2010 Summits. Yet, in the end, the clutching and engine related issues scared me off and I landed here. I am happy as punch.

What would you guys be riding and why?

Prolly a Polaris, because i like the dragons, just not as much as the M-series :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I would ride the poo m and poo comparable in handling and i feel the skidoo handles alot differently Tryed one for 2 days last year climbed good rode down the trail good and in the pow just took alot more work than the m or poo Hell if you buy a poo you get a new top end on the motor every year thats worth it isnt it??

I would like to try a Turbo Nytro myself. Not sure that I would like it...but I'd like to try it!

Dragon 800 also, would have been gotten one if it weren't for the 800 problems. I love the IQ Raw chassis and have never ridden a cat so I hope I made the right choice. Tomorrow will be my first ride.

everytime I ride I have to decide what I want to ride LOL,,,, and I had 3 CMX's,,, mabe next year again now that Marks making a turbo

Great replies, especially the funny ones! :beer;

I really liked the Dragon and the Assault too but, the engine related issues scared me off.

I too will have a Yamaha again, some day. I felt I was more than patient in riding my RX-1 for 7 seasons all the while waiting for Yamaha to build a legitimate mountain sled that was competitive without spending a fortune.

My patience finally ran out and now I'm the proud owner of my very first Cat.
